Need info around dell notebook?

i am buying a e1705 dell notebook, next to 2 GHz-2GB intel core 2 duo proc. bluetooth,wireless -n, cost about $1500 .Does anyone enjoy stats for this machine or is near a better model in that price range(17peak a must)

Its a pretty good model but I hold some horror stories about Dells lately in relation to thier parts, service and warranties. You can also try HP since they are better surrounded by those areas. Also price wise, they are competitive so you shouldn't hold a problem finding a similar one for a similar price but the fact is that you will be getting parts and service.
