My Toshiba Satelite laptop is remarkably slow what should I do?

My Toshiba laptop stops booting at the blue blind. How do i fix this?
Today, I walk to boot up my toshiba satellite a105-s4004 and it starts like conventional, but then when it reach the light blue blind that just say Microsoft Windows XP in the middle of the blind, it stops booting.I called Toshiba today and talk to their tech support, and he told me my windows xp be corrupt and i needed to completely restart my computer.And he suggested that i backup alll my information.He said that i will need to budge to a laptop repair shop to have this done.Then he also said that my warranty have jus expired about a week ago.I'm fixing to bring a lawyer, because this is the second time this have happened to me.Toshiba should do something to try and fix this problem explicitly common among their laptops.I hold also read other people enjoy the same exact problem as me near toshiba laptops.They should offer some sort of item to help you out next to this common toshiba problem.It's a big coincidence that this happen twice to me right after my warranty finishes.Suggestions?

My toshiba charger is making that commotion?
you know the tumult of a capacitor charging and discharging. so i bought a new adapter. My Toshiba charger give out 15V 5A output, but this one gives 15V 6A output.
The guy at the electronics store said it doesnt thing, as log as its not less than 5A.
Is that true or did he of late want to sell me the adapter?

conceivably it is because of the electrecity not your Laptop, toshiba is the best.

it depends on where you bought it but toshiba is specified well on making mistakes beside computers i own a toshiba as well and i have to send my laptop contained by for repairs once and send the adapter wager on twice plus it takes a honest 15 min to boot up my reccomendation is that you buy a better computer like hp or sony but if you dont wanna spend to much money buy a compaq or a dell preferably a compaq because they are made by hp

My taskbar for my dell computer is vertically and I want it horizontally?

click and drag it until you see it on the bottom.
The first thing you should do is see if you own a locked taskbar. Right click on a blank area of the assignment bar and if the string 'lock taskbar' is checked, then uncheck it and next you should be able to click and hold on the taskbar and drag it support down.

Look for the sound card's Control Panel god. Somewhere in here the will be a tab for 'Sound Modifiers' or 'Atmospherics'. Have a play with some. They nouns cool for about 2 minutes and after that you seize fed up next to them. Switch it back to 'None'.
Sometimes these settings are changable from your nouns card's icon surrounded by the toolbar at the bottom right.
It's annoying when that happens, but I give attention to you either obligation to live with it, or buy topical ones. Repairing them will probably not be worth it.
You probably have some EAX or other environmental-audio facet enabled, something which can happen when a winter sport exits abnormally. If the latter is the luggage, rebooting your PC should fix the problem.

Being that you call it a sound thingy, let start with the REAL primary thing first:
Look within the lower right, do you see all those tiny icon? Locate the Volume icon (it looks similar to a little speaker) and click it.
Make sure the MUTE button is not elected, and that the sound is turned up.
