the cat walk across the laptop and i cant double tap to achieve the touch ad to work anyone know how to rectify this please?

You can lug it to the store where you bought it from and offer it in if you have service plan.
I have notice that every now and next, on my touch pad the scroll function will stop working. I brought up the program (Synaptics Pointing Device) and go to Device Settings, and then Reset Device, and that still didn't work. So I only restarted my computer, and it worked fine. Have you tried restarting your computer?
