I enjoy a macbook with the stock Matshita-uj857 DVD drive. After a couple months of owning this computer, the drive stopped reading and writing discs at 4x and will presently ONLY read and write at 1x!! It is so very slow, and I cannot find the motivation for this problem. Its not just one program any - all forms of reading and writing to DVDs will not exceed 1x. Can anyone help out?
Answer: well is it going slow or too nippy if its going to fast next return if it is going to slow then press speed on the remote
