My WLAN disappeared from my laptop and is no longer detected by my system! How can i fix? Please HELP!!!!?

Answer:

It could be various things:

If this wlan is built into the laptop itself, there may be a wireless button that you involve to toggle on/off to get wlan support on.

It may also be that the drivers got corrupted, and have need of to be reinstalled. You can download drivers on another computer and transfer to laptop near a usb key/thumb drive or connect it to another computer through ethernet (needs to be a special crossover cable if not going through a router)

It could also be that somehow, the wireless program get switched, meaning that if for example, a 3rd deputation program was managing your wlan previously, somehow microsoft's wireless took over and is in a minute handling it. Most times this is done unknowingly or accidentally.

It could also be that the wlan just completely go out the laptop, but I would exhaust other possibilities before determining hardware anomaly
You lost your network connections?

Possbible your net card drivers got uninstalled...

Why type of OS?
Check if ur wireless oil lamp is on, if it is not on press the wireless button on the laptop. If not Maybe it is broken and u'll has to filch it to the nearest computer expert.
Download the drivers for your wlan
