Answer:

resourcefully a game similar to need for speed, necessitate large amount of grapghical memory and power. most laptops own a small amount of graphcal memory, so u could try and reduce the settings.
you want a powerful graphics card for them game turn to a computer store and ask them about it !
One of two problems could exist - any the laptop is overheat, in which crust you need to invest contained by a laptop cooler stand - basically its a flat plate that your Laptop sits on and have a number of fan underneath blowing cold air upwards into the laptop. Other problem could be your symbolic card/chip. Sometimes well specified Laptops use low point display chips as notebooks can sometimes be more aimed at desktop work than gaming. Also check the display chip manufacture website for the latest drivers, Toshiba's site may not be upto date on this, but it could be a virtuous place to start.
Vista is one problem. Having it on a laptop is another. Especially if it uses shared-memory video. You need a high-end dedicated-memory video card to really play games effectively.
check out this site, they administer you a sony vaio laptop FOR FREE!! i got mine finishing week and it's smokin'!
