New intel santa rosa processors and hit!!!?

New laptops next to the santa rosa processor have a CPU FSB 800MHz. But they usually come near either 1gb or 2gb of push at 667MHz.

If i wanted to add on a 2gb 800MHz ram stick into the laptop. Would it do anything, mixing the 667 and 800MHz.

Answer:

If you mix 667Mhz and 800Mhz together, they will adjectives run at the slowest speed which is 667. There will be a slight performance gain if you completely replace the 667 beside 800, but nothing primary.
