My laptop have LightScribe running on startup. How do I determine if my CD/DVD writer is LightScribe?
Answer:
On the proof it has the lightscribe software it's a gala bet it has a lightscribe drive, but erm,
check the specs supplied when you bought it ?
Look on the side of the drive and see if it say anything ?
Call supplier and ask ?
It should cause you own LightScribe on there.
There may be easier ways to find out than this, but the difference I've notice between LightScribe and regular writer is the laser. A regular writer just have the round laser eye thingy. A LightScribe has the round laser and two small rectangular ones to respectively side of it.
