My laptop's card reader cannot read memory card, how can i fix it?my driver is ricoh picture disk drive device

we own two laptops at home. one is compaq and the other one is dell. whenever i connect my memory card in dell notebook it cannot read my mmc but within compaq it works just without a flaw fine. anyone knows what seem to be to be the problem?im totally clueless how can i solve it. i need comfort



Well you know that your card works, now try to attain another card and see if dell will read anything. if not next uninstall the driver and disable the device, then see it and get a current driver from the dell website.
