Its a Compaq Armada M700 running XP. What is strange is that it go with a whimper not a explosion - it slowly faded, looked a bit dull - and swirly too. I managed to close enlarge window while things still finely visable, then shut it down.
I enjoy rebooted this evening with no probs and back up some info, then come on to RunQA.com s to find some.
I've spent 3 hours online signing up to Yahoo! creating profile etc. then as I typed my examination found loads of similar (answered) questions within history - after 10 pages I realised my problem didn't fit those answers so.... finally.... my examine is..Is this the beginning of the extremity for my laptop?
It may have be a one off (but worrying) blur out - so should I a moment ago be thankful and keep hold of backing up religously - or start abiding for a new computer?

probably a electrical surge that could of cause the problem, to many things connected to a outlet could do that, could be theres some electrical interference or even zilch at all.
I do recommend aiming to catch a new laptop or even a desktop they do update and fix those problems preventing them from any adjectives trouble
why spend money on a laptop when you can get it for free? a moment ago go to this site and complete a few hasty tasks and they'll send you a sony vaio laptop at no charge!
