My laptop's blind go blank. can it be fixed?

Answer:

If it's remarkably dim, but you can see a faint picture, the inverter is out and needs to be replaced. This should cost 100-150$ near repair.

If you don't see any image, the backlight is out and the lcd eyeshade should be replaced. Try http://www.screentekinc.com if you need a bright screen.
you will own to replace the lcd most likely. enjoy a technician look to see if the cable came unplugged in the past ordering the lcd.
Nope, sorry! If you hold warranty, you may be able to find a free replacement.
You may need a different screen, or your computer freshly gave out and crashed.
It could be a really unpromising virus. Try to do a system restore on it.
You might have turned it sour by pushing a combination of keys. There should be a push button at the top that has a box on it (It is usually on an F push button or number) hold down 'Fn' or whatever your function switch is and then press the box-key. This should work.

I hope this help!!
