I've have this problem since I got the mp3 player. I can sometimes copy music files to it from my laptop but most of the times it starts and later hangs for a while previously throwing up and error message, something to do with an I/O error. Most of the time tho, i plug it contained by and after a while the whole tool hangs.
Both devices are USB 2.0 so I don't judge thats the problem.
I can copy files to and from a usb flash drive and the mp3 player works fine when plugged into my desktop machine at work so it looks similar to some sort of conflict between it and the laptop?
Have tried running the driver cd that came beside it to no avail.
Anyone have any accepted wisdom what the problem is?

im not sure .. could be a usb2.0 driver issue .. if ur not running sp2 maybe try upgrading ..
