I own a new lop top compaq hp but when i put to sleep even if still connected to the oulet. After few hours the workstation it shut down by itself i dont' know if is normal but i thinq it get stay on always. because is surrounded by sleep mode.

It is normal, it is set to automatically gather your battery.
Just play around next to you settings.
It could be a power saving setting, recounting the computer to shut off after a unshakable amount of time. You may be able to disable this contained by the Power Settings section of the Control Panel.
