My laptop sounds approaching chipmunks, what do I do?

Recently the nouns on my laptop computer turned really high pitched. All the voice sound resembling chipmunks. Anyone ever had this come up? Anyone know what to do?

Answer:

Sometimes this is just a setting contained by the audio configuration, like to see different equalizers, and these settings take effect for adjectives programs. Try looking for your audio properties and change them, sometimes the properties are located contained by the control panel, sometimes they are located via a icon contained by the system tray.
Did you do any changes surrounded by the settings? Any physical damage? (Like dropping, spilling, etc.)
I in recent times came across a site that sends you a laptop for free! I'm order mine right now, it's a Sony VAIO and it looks really hot!
